This page explains what information Web Tools Pro (webtoolsprohub.blogspot.com) collects, how it's used, and what stays entirely on your own device. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal text.

Your Files Stay on Your Device

The large majority of our tools — PDF merging, splitting, watermarking, compression, image conversion, QR scanning, the notepad, and more — run entirely inside your browser. Your files, images, and text are never uploaded to our servers or stored by us in any of these tools. When you close the tab, the data is gone.

The Exceptions: Translation Tools

Our PDF Translator and the translation feature inside Image to Text need to send the extracted text to a third-party translation service (Google Translate) in order to return a translated result. Only the text you choose to translate is sent — not the original file itself — and it's sent directly from your browser to Google's service. We don't store or see this text ourselves. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle that request.

Local Browser Storage

Our Notepad tool saves your notes using your browser's local storage, so they persist between visits. This data is stored only on your own device and is never transmitted to us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns — things like how many people visit, which tools are popular, and which country visitors come from. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this and may collect your IP address and browser information. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally in any way we can access.

Advertising

This site may display advertisements served through Google AdSense or similar ad networks. These networks may use cookies to show ads based on your browsing activity across different sites. You can control ad personalization through your Google Ads Settings.

Third-Party Libraries

Our tools are built using open-source libraries (such as pdf-lib, pdf.js, Tesseract.js, and JSZip) and fonts/icons loaded from Google Fonts and similar CDNs. These are loaded from their respective providers when you use a tool, which may involve a standard request to that provider's servers.

Children's Privacy

Our tools are general-purpose utilities not specifically directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
