Translating a PDF Without Losing the Layout
Copying text out of a PDF into a separate translator usually means losing the formatting - headings turn into plain paragraphs, tables fall apart, and you end up with a wall of text that's hard to match back to the original. This tool works page by page, so you can read the translated version right next to the layout it came from, and edit it if the translation needs a tweak.
Getting Started
Open the PDF using the file picker, or just drag it into the workspace. The file is read directly in your browser, so nothing gets sent off to a third-party server in the process - useful if the document contains anything private.
Choosing a Language and Fine-Tuning the Result
Pick a target language from the dropdown - there are more than 50 to choose from - then hit "Extract & Translate Page". The translated text lands in an editable box, so if a phrase comes out a little awkward or a term needs adjusting, you can fix it right there before moving on.
Handling Longer Documents
For multi-page files, "Process & Translate All Pages" runs through the whole document in one go. Once it's done, you can export either a plain text file or a translated PDF that keeps the original document's fonts and structure intact.
